Where to get Cotton Burr Compost

I am in the Memphis area, too. Where can I get CBC?

The Bartlett Nursery on Summer Ave/ Yale Road carries some but Dan West Garden Centers carry Back To Nature brand cotton burr compost. Their location out on Hwy 64 would probably be the closest place to find it.
Happy Gardening and best regards!

Where & How to get cotton burr compost in CA?
by: andyh

Hello. I just studied up on cotton burr compost and I;m afraid It can't be had in CA. Does anyone know of a source in northern CA. or where to order it. Thanks for any help. I'm impressed with this product.

The best advice that I can give to you is to call your local nursery and garden centers and see if they have this in stock. Due to the weight of the product, if you have to get this shipped to you it is likely to be cost prohibitive.

One alternative is to start using Anaerobic Fermentation to process all your organic waste. Not only is "free" you will be surprised at how much you can produce.

Unlike composting, anaerobic fermentation retains ALL the carbon and nutrient compounds. Composting losses approximately 75% of the carbon as it is released into the atmosphere as Co2. Visit http://www.organic-gardening-for-life.com/Bokashi_Bran.html to see how easy and simple this is to accomplish.
