Corn Fired YAR Pre-Heater Heats and DriesIncoming Air to Supplement Existing LP/Natural Gas System

  • Heating Capacity: 4,000,000 BTU's
  • Electronic Start
  • High/Low Safety Switches
  • 21" x 8' Fire Box
  • Pre-Heater Size: 4' wide x 12' long x 10' high
  • Approx. Weight: 4000 lbs.

The Model 1500 Corn Burning Corn Dryer Pre-Heater is another exciting addition to our product line. This application is burning corn to dry corn. It does not disrupt the normal corn drying equipment that exists. It simply requires removing the screen covering the existing dryer fan and bolt our corn dryer pre-heater to that fan location. With our unit providing four million BTU’s the fan will accept our heat thus replacing the requirement for the LP or Natural Gas previously required. This converts the LP/ Natural Gas to a back up position. By burning corn the cost of drying corn is decreased by up to forty percent over using LP or Natural Gas. Let us show you how you can pay for your Year-A-Round Corn Burning Corn Dryer Pre-Heater in the first 45 days of use at today’s corn prices.

Computer controlled all Year-A-Round Furnaces and Corn Drying Pre-Heaters can burn corn, wood pellets, moldy corn, and other palletized burnable substances. Corn is the most desirable. An agitator is standard with each unit to stir the corn within the burning pot. Our 2008 Models feature new features. Stainless steel tubing sleeves have been added to the rods on the agitator for longer life, higher heat resistance and the added bonus of scrapping the bottom of the burning pot. We now provide a new re-programmed computer. The agitator has a delay switch, which starts and stops the agitator in accordance with the operator’s desires. The agitator has intermittent stops allowing the fire to burn hotter, longer, and more efficient. Last but not least an adjustment screw has been added to control the airflow. This adjustment will allow the fire pot and the gasfire to burn more efficient also.

  • Bokashi Buckets

This Fall I have been working on some new raised beds for use this coming Spring. They have provided a convenient spot to put all those leaves falling off the maple tree.

Earlier this year I began using Bokashi Buckets to recycle all our kitchen waste. I always thought it was a shame that I couldn't do something constructive with all the orange peels we generate in our household. Bokashi Buckets have provided a perfect solution and a great way to build soil in the raised beds all throughout the winter. Bokashi Buckets are a great alternative to composting, especially in the winter months.
