Aromatic Foliage! Another plant with a purpose.
Agastache makes your garden come alive. This plant enjoys the company of Hummingbirds, Butterflies and Honey bees.
You can't go wrong with a tough Perennial that has all those attributes. This plant also works well with Russian sage and thread leaf Coreopsis. Stop by Vadors Garden Center and let our professionals help pick your plants for success!!

If you want to see the results of what organic fertilizer can do in your yard then you need to come to the Garden Center. Just look at the beautiful double bloom Hibiscus above as an example. Working in a garden center for a lot of years gives you the edge on what plants need to keep them great for retail reasons.

We started spraying our plants with a mixture of Monty's plant food, worm casting and Seaweed. We also Bumped up our watering.WE MADE IT THROUGH!!!! Our plants are fabulous, and you will love to have them in your yard!
I talk a lot about organic products on our weekly radio show and I want to share with you some of my favorites. We purchase our plants from Monrovia because of they are just the best, see for yourself. Another we talk about a lot is Monty's Plant Food essential for proper feeding of your plants. A healthy plant has a much better survival rate than a chemically feed plant. A good resource for gardening information is Dr. Earth There are some articles that come in handy. Then save the shipping charges and get it without waiting at Vador's.

While you're here look over our wide variety of trees and shrubbery to compliment your perennials and annuals. And don't forget the greenhouse. Just look at the beautiful blooms. From containers and baskets to organic fertilizers and amendments, we have you covered at Vadors' Garden Center.

Bokashi Buckets

This Fall I have been working on some new raised beds for use this coming Spring. They have provided a convenient spot to put all those leaves falling off the maple tree.

Earlier this year I began using Bokashi Buckets to recycle all our kitchen waste. I always thought it was a shame that I couldn't do something constructive with all the orange peels we generate in our household. Bokashi Buckets have provided a perfect solution and a great way to build soil in the raised beds all throughout the winter. Bokashi Buckets are a great alternative to composting, especially in the winter months.
