Max-Pak Waste Processing Equipment Inc.

As waste paper processors, we knew what we needed from a baler. A baler that would last, require very little maintenance, and have superb hydraulics and electrical components. One that was strong and would produce dense bales up to 1200 pounds. When we couldn't find the perfect baler, we built it!

In 1972, Waste Processing Equipment, Inc. started its waste paper division. We needed to bale waste paper, load the bales onto trailers, and then haul them off. To get the most from our efforts, we wanted high-density bales that were consistent in size and weight. A baler that did everything we needed, and wanted, simply wasn't available. So in 1976, the MAX-PAK line of balers was born, and we continue to strive for ultimate performance today.Major emphasis is placed on the quality of our machine, its performance, and its efficiency, so that it saves you money. Safety of operating our machine is of utmost concern. We have designed a frame strong enough to withstand the pressures of baling, to prevent any bowing in the door or walls. We have a national network of dealers and service representatives.The very same baler that we deliver to you is the very same baler that we use, everyday, to make us profit in our waste paper division.

Horizontal Balers

MAX-PAK is a world leader in Horizontal balers. MAX-PAK horizontal balers are made with heavy-duty steel; they perform at high speed for maximum throughput and dependability.MAX-PAK builds a full line of closed-door machines as well as the automatic tie units for the ultimate in complete automation. MAX-PAK also builds an economy model for companies only baling cardboard. For those who have a need to bale multiple materials – including, but not limited to: OCC, C\B, Non-Ferrous Metals, Plastics and Foam – MAK-PAK builds an outstanding high-density baler for this need as well.
MAX-PAK horizontal balers are engineered to out perform other horizontal balers in numerous ways. As a matter of fact we've been leading the industry in horizontal baler designing since 1976. MAX-PAK engineers have designed “ease of use” features through out the machines making them incredibly user friendly. In most cases, a properly trained 18 year old* employee can safely operate the MAK-PAK horizontal baler . (*The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) require baler operators t be at least 18 years of age.)

Compactors

MAX-PAK builds a full line of Stationary Compactors from 2 to 6 cubic yards, with many advanced features not found on other compactors. MAX-PAK Compactors and Containers embrace the company’s standard for dependability, with structural features seldom found on similar equipment. The unique Ram Guide System on MAX-PAK Compactors, for example, supports the packing ram with replaceable wear strips all around. This design protects the charge box floor, walls and gibb bars from the full force of the packing ram, while reducing friction in the chamber.
