Twin Shaft Shredders

Jordan shredders use low speed, high torque hook shear blades manufactured of high alloy heat treated material mounted on hexagonal shafts. The number of hooks, reach of hooks, and blade thickness are determined by the material being reduced. Counter rotating shafts turn at slightly different speeds increasing the efficiency of the cutting action. Overloads caused by foreign material stop the forward motion of the motor, reverse to clear the foreign matter, and then forward motion is resumed. Shock loads are negated by a patented ''shock absorber'' drive train.

Adjustable Blades: Positioning of the blades in the cutting chamber is also adjustable to obtain the optimum "rip-shear" action and end product size

Overload protection with Automatic Reversal: JRS Shredders include an electronic protection system to automatically stop and reverse the shredding action in the event of a system overload. The system allows the shredder to clear itself and then continues the shredding process, automatically.

Bokashi Buckets

This Fall I have been working on some new raised beds for use this coming Spring. They have provided a convenient spot to put all those leaves falling off the maple tree.

Earlier this year I began using Bokashi Buckets to recycle all our kitchen waste. I always thought it was a shame that I couldn't do something constructive with all the orange peels we generate in our household. Bokashi Buckets have provided a perfect solution and a great way to build soil in the raised beds all throughout the winter. Bokashi Buckets are a great alternative to composting, especially in the winter months.
